Feathers and Scales and Skins and Bones

An ensemble of animals compare their lives with each other, whilst battling with intrusive ideas of capitalism.

about the play:

This absurdist play centres around a group of animals who examine the line between instinct and desire. The aim is to explore urgent questions around climate change whilst asking the audience what it means to be human. The play switches between two states, where the animals are learning about each other's purpose, discussing the concept of ‘home’ and another where they include aspects of man-made inventions, like trading, stocks and investing.
